Title: Winter hardy beetroot

What beetroot is winter hardy I want to sow some beetroot to stay in the ground over winter is they any that will be OK.

Most varieties will survive the winter. The problem is that they are biennials, so if the go through a winter (or just experience a period of cold weather) they will go all 'second year' on you, and make seed instead of roots in spring. This is why sowing too early in spring can cause them to bolt. If you mean you just want to store them in the ground for use during winter, most will be fine if covered with a bit of compost or straw. The traditional method is to lift them and store in boxes of sand in a frost-free shed.
