Title: green gages
Post by: qahtan on June 03, 2013, 16:20:21
Can you see the green gages on this tree, there are quite a few gages on there but a job to tell fruit from leaves, photo taken a couple years ago.
The tree was grown from a pit from a couple of green gages I brought back to Canada from  England for my mum..
Only one of the pits grew and fruited as you can see,, Yes I know another of my show off trees.. plus a bit of chit chat.    :happy7:  qahtan

Looks fantastic, how long did it take the tree to start fruiting?

(PS, I've moved your other Green Gages post as requested)

thank you very much..
I am not sure how long it took to fruit. it has been fruiting for a few years. but I haven't been back to UK for about 15 years.
But for what it is worth none  of my trees that have been grown from pits have ever been pruned.   qahtan
