Title: On-line plant Nurseries
Post by: Jayb on May 30, 2013, 12:36:43
So nice when things go right (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-basic/smile.gif) (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php)
I recently bought two plants, an All Spice bush and an Autumn Olive, mail order from Blue Bell Nursery  http://www.bluebellnursery.com/ . I hadn't come across this nursery before and I nearly didn't order from them, very happy I did though.  Fab service, plants arrived just 2 days after placing my order. Customer service was great, they emailed to confirm plants were on the way and a telephone call! Lovely looking plants, well packed. 10 out of 10, well done.

Aww, lucky you  :happy7: Sadly not many nurseries around here to go and visit which is partly why it's so nice to be able to buy online.

Ah - autumn olive - mine is in flower at the moment, pale yellow long bells and the scent is bewitching.  Is yours flowering?  Superb plant - small bushy tree rather than bush.  Berries are delicious too, similar to red currants, red berries with golden speckles.

Glad you got good service and nice plants from this nursery.  Just about to click on the link and look at their offer.

Ooh.... they're a bit cheaper than Otter Farm.... hmm.... I need to find if my local nurseries do some of the oddballs I' like... those two, plus Chilean Guava's, Japanese Ginger adn Szechuan pepper are all on my "must get soon" list....
