Title: Potatoes leaves turning yellow
Post by: steve1967 on May 23, 2013, 15:34:52
Hi All,

I noticed today that 3 of my potato plants had slightly yellow leaves. They are the only ones like this and of the same variety Victoria.

I would welcome some advice as to what the problem might be.

Thanks
Steve

Probably cold and windy, looking again they may have had a bit of frost bite, should perk up are they dry or have you had rain.   :coffee2:

Its been reasonably dry here and the allotments are quite open when we get a cold wind. Its just that these are in the middle of a row next to each other. I have five other varieties with no yellowing at all.

I had blight last year so all these plants are new certified spuds and rotated. Hopefully its just the up and down temps we are getting.

Looks like a touch of frost damage.
