The Magnolia was reasonable, but the Paeony is just a twig with a vestige of root.
Both would be better in a pot until they form proper feeding roots.
Picked up a parcel yesterday from a friend who is away for a few weeks. I have shoved them in some pots in the poly and shall advise her to wait until autumn to plant out. Not bad plants though, they should come good. I wondered why she was buying plants from T&M when she could have got them from me. But not at that price.
