Does anyone know a simple way to convert mp3 files to put on a disc which can then be played on any CD player?
try copy and paste as you would transferring fotos from your camera to disc

That would just copy the MP3 files, no good unless the CD player can play mp3s
I think it is simple, I will try and figure it out.
Yes, Windows media player should burn an audio CD for you, not done it myself but looks straight forward.
Usually you get a menu of what format you want the cd to be and an explanation of what you need for each type of player, chose audio. Nearly all modern cd/dvd players will play mp3 as well as audio. I don't bother with cd any more, I put the mp3s on a micro card pop it in the phone then with a lead from the pound shop plug it into the aux socket in the car/dvd/cd. Can even bluetooth it to a friends phone if they are after a certain track. Even better just get a music app on your phone and have access to every song ever recorded.
Thanks for your help folks, sorted now, it was me being a numpty...again!
