Hi everyone.
I've not been around much lately but I thought you might like to know that another member, Lorna, had an accident in the garden yesterday and has fractured her pelvis. :(
If anyone wants to send good wishes I'm sure she'll appreciate them and I'll make sure they are passed on.
Regards
G x
Oh dammit! That's rotten, rotten news to read :(
Lorna, was thinking about you last week - or rather, when a friend and I were talking about getting lost I recounted our epic car journey to see Rosebud ...and then there was that hotel - remember?....!!!
I don't know if you're laid up at home but if you are I just know that all your lovely family will be there to help you. Perhaps Josh will peel grapes for you? :)
Thanks so much Georgie for telling us and all the very very best Lorns,
Lish X
Thanks Georgie
What a shock Lorna - hope you will be feeling much better soon and steadily mend and get stronger again.
Best wishes
Thanks to Georgie I, too, can wish you a speedy recovery Lorna. Such rotten luck to be incapacitated just at this busy time of the year. Take care and don't try to rush things too soon.

Hi everyone
I'm so pleased to be able to report that Lorna was looking and feeling a lot better than I expected. It seems she's broken a pelvic bone and they estimate that it'll heal in about six weeks. The plan is to get her mobile and hopefully she'll be able to go home some time soon.
She was so surprised and delighted to receive so many good wishes from you all and she asked me to pass on her thanks.

Awww sorry to hear this Lorna, think Lish needs to send chocklit to make you feel better! Hope you are soon up and about, at least the weather is rubbish so you wouldn't be gardening anyway :tongue3: DP X X X
Very sorry to hear about the fracture, Lorna. Especially at the start of gardening season. I hope you are not dealing with much pain.
It sounds like you WILL get to stop and smell the roses for a change. And maybe you'll catch up on some reading, cleaning out drawers, desk etc. And planning next years garden. I hope the time flies for you.
