I havent grown much for a while, this year hubby made me some new raised beds. I put way too many potatoes in :glasses9:. Peas, carrots, parsnips, schorzonera, salads and brassicas waing to go in when they get big enough.
The carrots are just poking through, as are most things....its so lovely after all this time to see the garden growing again :toothy10:
So c'mon little 'nips catch up :happy7:
Oh its good to be alive :sunny:
Yes its very pleasing but hard work
Sheesh......and its in the wrong forum....... :angel11: :glasses9:

Moved to Edible plants
Always amazes me when my 'babies' start poking through the soil. Glad you're happy, star. Here's to a great growing season :blob7:
:hello: Yes I think this season will be good, its a lot of effort.....more than before. But it is enjoyable and a real pleasure to see things growing . I have a lot of old seed which didnt germinate, and some new seed which also didnt germinate.... Cucamelons. Two friends had seed from the same supplier and thiers didn't germinate either....I reckon we got dud seeds then. I was looking forward to trying them too.......not to worry, another time.
Happy growing Mal :toothy4:
Thanks for moving my post Jayb :toothy10:
Get in touch with seed supplier. If you don't tell them they don't know. Just had a look & they can still be sown this month :icon_cheers:.
Oh thanks GJ, I will give then another go. And get in touch with the supplier
I always complain if they don't germinate and always get some sent in return. I haven't been to the lottie since last Tuesday but the carrots, beetroot, sweetcorn, spuds, rhubarb, onions, shallots, spuds and strawberries were coming along fine. :blob7: The marestail was getting going so I'm sure with this bit of rain they'll be flying. :BangHead:
I always get over excited at the start of the year - I just have to learn to keep the numbers of plants down a bit and to keep that excitement going through the growing year.
