..and not only for us gardeners. This morning I had quiet walk around plot..'savouring' the fresh air after the rain and catching the morning sun...noticed little pin head size yellowy-green dots all over the soil surface..WEEDS have started to germinate... :BangHead:..buds on hedges are just about to burst..flower buds on fruit trees are teeny weeny more thicker than couple of days ago..frogs are have good puddle in pond, saw queen been crawling out of her nest and she flew straight on the nearest crocus for her breakkie...birds flying about with beaks full of nest building material..and there was me, watching the world go by.
Now I've got breakkie in my tummy too and its time to stop being lazy cow and join the race..it is very busy world out there.. :icon_cheers:
Oh yes, that wonderful 'green-over' look that means we can start thinking about direct sowing - once we've hoed off the million seedlings of chickweed, bittercress, fat hen, etc etc...
So shut down the laptop and let's get down to it at last!
