The goodlife was one of my favourite programmes too.  Sad he had to go - RIP.

So sad to hear he had passed away.  I always enjoyed the programmes he was in especially "Ever decreasing circles" where he had me in fits of laughter with his office management and use of the duplicating machine.  Haven't we all known someone like that in real life, so organised and with everything needing to be precise and in an exact order?    I loved "The good life" too.

Gone but not forgotton, Richard Briars.  You brought happiness to millions.

It was pleasant gentle humour - no bad language - an it just made you smile.
