Post by: goodlife on January 29, 2013, 17:37:51
I came across these..same company run both sites. I haven't bought any from them myself but thought some may want to do bit of 'window shopping'  :toothy10:

I've been a bit of a fan of Vegetable Plants Direct in previous years, and recommended them, but we've had a poor experience with our last couple of orders.  When I chased the most recent one, in late summer 2012, I got a rather rude reply that they'd been busy with larger orders.  It may have been a relatively small order (a top up of only around thirty quid), but we'd been loyal customers.  And when the order arrived, we were short of 5 PSB plants.

To be fair, it was a difficult season for all of us, but they'd given good customer service in the past.  I hope that's not slipping.

*splutters on coffee*!!

How much???!!  Do people really pay for these things?? Must be my northern frugality!!

Personally, I think growing from seed is one of the best aspects of gardening, and Im sure we could all fill our allotments end to end for what they want for a few plants!!

Surely, if you buy your plants in, you're not growing your own, you are growing someone elses!! :tongue3:

My opinion only, dont mean to offend anyone x
