The girls are less than impressed with all this snow.

Just pleased mine had their feathers back and are the back end of the moult.  They seem healthy enough and are always scratching in the snow.  They have put on some weight due to the extra feed I have been giving them with the cold weather.  I also put extra straw in the cree too.

The girls really stand out in the snow - very picturesque, although I'm sure they won't think so!!

Many thanks indeed for the kind comments. Was delighted to find out that the pic appeared in the Guardian gardening blog in February - the girls were thrilled with their 15 mins of fame!
