Nothing beats a splodge dinner and this is one O my favs for
bunging it all in and shovelling it down ya cake Ole.....nuffin dainty about this hot and scrummy evening meal.
Itsa any ingredients dinner really but my top combo is..........
1lb of Beef mincemeat
good handful of frozen sweetcorn
3 small carrots chopped small
12 brussel sprouts chopped small
1 whole red pepper chopped small
1 large onion chopped small
2 cloves garlic minced
1 red chilli chopped small(optional)
2 pints of hot water
2 tbsp knorr beef "touch of taste" concentrated stock
1 tbsp Maggi Wurze
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp tomato puree
1 tbsp tommy sauce
1 tin of baked beans
1 tin of processed peas
1 tin of butter beans
salt & pepper to taste
extra veg
Buttered mash
leeks
brocolli
cauliflower
Brown mince beef and drain off fat,add top 12 ingredients and bring to the boil and then simmer gently for an hour.

its up to you whether you add the tinned butter beans,baked beans and processed peas at the start as they disolve to a degree and add to the thickness of the mince gravy sauce.....or you can add all the tins 10 mins from the end if you like the flavour of each.
I will admit the butter mash is a must have as it blends in beautifully into the mince gravy sauce.
The extra veggies are up to you.

All those beans are a guaranteed brass band event, but the combined flavours of this "Throw in all in" evening meal
are a worthwhile taste sensation,nice richly flavoured beef stock gravy sauce with plenty of tasty things of your choosing thrown in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well if last night wasnt bad enough Lou,I took the remaining 2 portions around to mums for lunch today with a fresh batch of mash and she enjoyed it so
I guess they,ll be 2 duvets rippling with the wind in the willows sometime tonight..... :tongue3:
Its very filling and you end up sitting at the dinner table like that kid outa Willy Wonka,ya know the one that eats the blueberry sweety and ends up looking like a bouncy castle... :blob7:
Me mate bazza is a chilli fan and adds a large tin of Red Kidney beans to it and a handful of Habaneros ......bluddy mad if you ask me,but hes got Teflon Guts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
