Title: polycarbonate greenhouses
Post by: lottie lou on December 29, 2012, 13:15:55
Eek.  The wind got into my polycarb greenhouse and blew off the roof panels again and the  door.  Does anyone have any ideas how to fix the roof panels in more firmly - silicon/glazing tape etc.  Could I possibly use safety glass if I can afford it or would the frame be too light to hold it?

I put mine back with clear silicon and they haven't moved since.

Thanks.  Did consider that option when they first blew out but was worried in case strong wind got to them again and they broke/cracked very badly necessitating the problems of trying to clear the silicon to replace.

I agree with silicon and plenty of glazing clips. :icon_thumleft:
