I enjoyed watching these programs, so I would like to buy the DVDs. Can anyone help me choose where to buy? I have looked on-line at several sites and got quite confused. Some say series 1 has 2 discs and some 5. The prices seem to vary quite a bit. Also were the recent repeats series 5?
The last ones were from series 2...see here.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01cbq6b
Looks like some DVD sets goes by the series and some as 'collections'..I assume mixed fro different series..and some are sold as in order they are made but each program has its own number, so sold as from 1-'10'...'10- 18' (example).... :BangHead:
No..it is not easy to choose..as long as the programs are in right order(how they were made), that's how I would buy mine....which I propably do ..eventually.. :sunny:
I was the same Tomatado when I looked at them, which ever vendor you looked at seemed to be doing a different package.
I'm not sure if the BBC still sell direct-presumably they have them in the "right" order?
Thanks for the helpful replies. I did not spot the collection/series thing. I have looked on the BBC site. I think I will go with Amazon series 1 £28.39. Will buy thro' this site if I do. Thanks again.
Going on how some DVDs are published, you may find that when you buy series 1, what you will get is a cardboard sleeve/box which says series 1, and inside you will get two sets, called collection 1 and collection 2.
