When we moved back into my house after the tenants from hell had gone, I found that they had let the dogs poo all over my raised beds and left it there for months. :evil7:
Will this cause a problem to any veg I grow next year, bearing in mind that anything there will be frozen and drowned by our wet cold welsh weather. Dotn know if they were wormed or not (the dogs, not the tenants)
I don't know how long worm eggs remain viable, but your veg won't get worms anyway. They'll be OK, but it might be wise to wear gloves when gardening for a few months at least.
Thanks :toothy10:
Nothing to worry about then :toothy10:
I'll just have to discipline myself to wear gloves. I often pop down the garden 'just for a look' and end up pottering about and doing a bit of weeding.
carolinej,
I cannot imagine how you must have felt after 'tenants' (lowlife) did this.
Should be banned with keeping dogs. Did you have any recompense for the filth they left on YOUR property?
We said they could keep their dogs in the integral garage, but take them for walks though the garage door. They werent allowed in the house.
When we got back, they had used the garage as a toilet too (the dogs...not the tenants). The whole house smelled like a toilet :BangHead:
They let the dogs run up and down the new wool stair carpet, that now is scagged and scuffed all the way up. The bond wont cover half of that being replaced.
However, they are disputing us getting the bond, as our house was so damp and wet that it ruined lots of their belongings...of which there was photographic evidence........ which they have mysteriously lost.
Funny, we have lived here 8 years and never had a problem with damp. Must have missed it :confused4:
