Please keep Pansy Potter in your thoughts, she is having
a cataract operation this morning.
Hope all goes well .
Hope it's all over and done with now and she's at home with her feet up xx
Oh please send her my love x
I spoke to her a couple of hours ago and she is fine.
She said the worst thing was seeing the needle before
it went into her eye, but once that was done she was
ok and said she wasn't in any pain.
Please pass on my best wishes too. and hope her vision will be much improved for her superb paintings

Needle !!! MOH had his last week and there was no needle involved. Eye drops have replaced the needle now..........
Hope it was not too uncomfortable for her. x
Send Pansy Potter my love Betty, I'm glad she's fine.
Love to Pansy please, hope it all went well. :coffee2:
Hugs to Pansy. It seems to make a huge difference to everyone that has the op!

I can assure you that I had 4 lots of eyedrops and also a needle bottom right and top left of the eye. I also had a drip in my arm because I was so anxious. I wasn't asleep though, just calm.
Thank you for all of your good wishes. Not being able to see properly has stopped me doing sucha lot of late.Perhaps I will even be able to cope with this bright screen on here. I did alter my pc options but didn't seem to make much difference.
Here's hoping the operations are successful for Pansy and Shirlton and that they regain vision quickly. Needles or not, it doesn't sound like a walk in the park! You are both very brave.
Hugs to Pansy P. Hope you are not too uncomfortable and it has been very successful. My aunty recently had hers done and what a difference it has made to her life. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
It seems it is definitely worth the effort having it done. MOH has had both done now, first one was 10 years ago when he had the needle and hated the whole experience. He was dreading having it done again but the local hospital here said they haven't used the needle now for quite some time now. Seems each hospital have different methods. The second time was a breeze for him, and I have to mention that the staff were brilliant as well
He is so pleased with the difference and he can finally get back to driving again !!
Needle.... they'd have to knock me out I'm afraid...
Hope she recovers well, it's a greatly useful operation.
