Title: pots and pans for induction hob recommendations
Post by: grawrc on November 22, 2012, 17:35:16
My new kitchen has an induction hob. Quite a few of my pots and pans will be OK but unfortunately I shall need to replace my main saucepans. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

Le Creuset can be used on all heat sources...

I have a little plug in single induction hob,it's really fast and I know Le Creuset should work but mine don't

Thanks for the suggestions! Lottiman, which Lakeland ones did you go for? They seem to have quite a few!!!

Katy - I have a big le Creuset cast iron casserole which should be OK, although maybe too heavy - or were you thinking of le creuset 3 ply?

From what I've read the 3 ply ones (aluminium sandwiched in stainless steel) seem the best for induction. You can get Scanpan and John Lewis ones too but they all seem quite pricey.

Anyone know of any that are made in the UK or even in Europe? Scanpan are Danish but they are made in China!
