Title: Satchkin Patchkin & Deloitte
Post by: Melbourne12 on November 06, 2012, 09:15:51
Those with small children or grandchildren will no doubt be familiar with the story of Satchkin Patchkin and the rich farmer who denied him a drink of milk.

The farmer is described as "a lean man, a mean man, a man without a smile".

Step forward messrs Deloitte, candidate for Mean Spirited Corporation of Christmas 2012:

I realise they could hardly have intervened in real time, but an ex gratia payment would have done them no harm.

Giving a £500 gift voucher from a company already known to be rather wobbly seems rather unwise to me.  I am not sure that the rules for Adminstrators give them any space for discretion.

Looks as if there are some nice people around
