I love genovese minestrone soup and wondered if anyone has used green tomatoes to make it. I've made one batch with the red ones but have lots of green ones left. We are not chutney lovers and I thought it might be something different :happy7:
If you have a lot of green tomatoes, they are good cut in half and fried with bacon and egg.
Thats all I have basically grown this year is green tomatoes as there has zero :sunny: :BangHead: This would be interesting to find out is all we have tried is green tomato chuckney and that failed :(
