I have got my winter digging & mucking done as far as I can go as you can see here;

Panoramic view of the plots;

Fruit Beds;

Next years runner beans seeds from pods that went a bit 'stringy'

What I can't get my head round is the white ones??

The red are Enorma, and the other variety I sowed was St George, which is a light brown colour in my packet!

So have I produced a new variety?

Has anyone seen runner bean seeds this colour?

If so what variety were they?

Then there were plenty of these b****rs

Sadly this one won't be having its picture taken again!

Did Tee Gee
a.  Stamp on it with his wellies
b.  Slice it in half with his spade, or
c.  Sprinkle on salt and watch it shrivel.

I think you will find that St George will turn brown as it dries.

I leave mine in the pods much longer so they are light brown when they come out in the spring.
