While I was washing up after breakfast I was watching a coal tit on the black sunflower seeder & it was back & to for ages but it was planting the seeds in containers, plant pots & even the moss on the greenhouse. It's the first time I've witnessed it but OH found something on the net that it's a common thing with them.
Planning ahead for next year! :sunny:
The ones the bird plant or drop always so much better than the ones ones lovingly sown & nurtured by human hands.
That is what the Coal tits do , they take away most of the seeds and bury them so that when the weather is harsh they remember most of the seeds they have hidden. Not daft eh :happy7:
