Title: Garlic Marco
Post by: InfraDig on September 19, 2012, 21:45:21
Is this a good variety for autumn planting? October? Generally a good variety?

Thanks for any replies.

Yep I always grow Marco and it pretty consistent - good to plant in Oct and, for me at least, quite an early variety.

Very reliable for me too, this year I am only going to grow Marco and nothing else, tried lots of other varieties, none of the other have done as well for me on our heavy clay.....

I grew "Marco" garlic this year, (for obvious reasons :happy7:) for the first time and had a good crop! I planted out in the first few weeks of october. Go for it! :blob7:
