Title: identifying plants help

hi everyone :)

first post here. last year i got some random seed mix and planted it then hoped for the best. had some surprising results! trouble is i dont know what kinda plant is what in order to grow it again. ive eventually managed to upload a coupla pics onto flickr (i know / think the vibrant blue one is a cornflower and i know theres a poppy lurking in the pics and i hope i can post links here) and was looking for a bit of help in identifying them if at all possible :)

you're right with the first one being a cornflower (wait til it finishes, and you can save the seed to sow next month to get an early crop for next year - these are annuals so will just flower once and then dies).

the last two are perennial wallflowers - the orange one, i don't know the variety name, but last one is called 'Bowles Mauve'. Such lovely colours. these will flower year upon year. these will buik up next year, and you can take cuttings to make more plants!

Close but no cigar, the last one is good old candy tuft. Get rid of the cornflower, unless that is all you want in the garden next year, nice little plants if you whip the heads quickly after flowering so the seed does not get everywhere.

thanks for the correction, Ace. i thought they looked a bit too low-growing to be considered the perennial kind, but the flower is v. much like the wallflower tho', don't you think?
