Title: Swede?
Post by: Gordonmull on September 07, 2012, 22:43:03
I've grown loads for soup, although I didn't anticipate that the early sowings would be ready now, outside scotch broth season. In the interests of not letting them get too big (and, I suspect, woody) does anyone have anything tried and tested to do with them besides cubing, boiling then tossing them in black pepper as a side veg?

I like to use them instead of mash on top of shepherds pie, makes a really lovely change from spuds  ;)

Not a bad plan there Crystalmoon! Mrs will like it as well since it's not as carb containing.
