Normally I would have been on my bike to work an hour ago. I bet it looks pretty at the allotment.

oooooooooooooooooo lovely! And taken from the warmth of your home! Bet it's a bit hair raising being out on your bike in the snow though.
Eh! That's me on my bike.
It's a lovely photo Ina, especially when you are nice and warm taking it. Felt the same as EJ, must be a bit tricky being on a bike in this sort of weather. Do you have to have special wheel chains or something like that to cope with the slippery conditions? Hope you are feeling a bit better by the way. :) busy_lizzie
Piccie looks lovely - beautiful to look at while I sit in my toasty office.
Here it's snow then stop then snow then stop. Very nice to watch, but makes me nervous. Last year a particularly viscious spell of weather caused total chaos here. I waited over an hour for a bus after work only to then be told that there would be no more buses. Then I had to walk home - it took me four hours. Not an experience I wish to repeat!
Clare.
Whoahahaha Liz hehehehe, snow chains for bicycles woohoo!!
No Clare, I wouldn't wish on anyone having to walk home four hrs because the busses stopped. Actually I don't think they can leave people stranded without an emergency place for shelter if they wish to make use of it. When I look at how people are dressed going to work by public transport when the weather is bad, some look like they would not be able to walk half an hour in those high heels and thin coats through snow in freezing weather.
Ken!! You rode by here on your bike and not paid me a sick visit bringing chocolates?
I got over the worst of it I think. A bit weak, voice sounds weird and rib cage still sore. It seems that my internal thermostat is working again and that feels better.
Here is an update on the snow situation, taken at 17.15 our time, they scraped the main streets so it looks like there is less snow but there really is a lot more.

Still lookin' gorgeous!
Ah yes, the street with all those trees look so pretty.
Ina, that looks so pretty. Nicest place to be is wrapped up in front of the fire. Hope that you are feeling better soon. Look after yourself its a nasty bug >:(
Thanks Mimi.
INA! - I missed your whateveritwas. Sorry.
Sore ribs?? I had to try every ploy to strangle a cough - the pain was too much. After 14 days & it's just staring to improve!!
Much sympathy.
But then I did smoke for 40 years before, thankfully, giving it up. So - it's my fault!!
Oh no! 10 more days of this before it starts to improve?
Thanks for your sympathy Tim. I didn't know you were sick too, glad to hear you are improving.

I set off with all good intentions, ina but I got stuck in that drift at the bottom of your road, yesterday.
Ended up eating the choc's to survive. Got the flu now!
