Mine was given to me last by my mate Steve. He runs the local Chinese Take-Away. He says his wife is the brains behind the seed and plants they use on their allotment, but unfortunately my Chinese is too poor to make any real meaningful discussion about plants.
Still, if it is going to grow into a big plant, I'd imagine it would yield a fair few berries. No?
Or am I not understanding this thing about Gogi Berries correctly?  :-[

Wow...those goji's... :o What do they taste like fresh? I've only ever eaten dried ones.

Some years ago I grew several goji plants from seed that I harvested from dried berries (bought from health food shop)..they were easy and quick to grow into planting size plants. Planted 8...OH strimmed few down more and less straight away... ::)..first summer snails had couple (they love gojis)...lost one following winter..and I was left with 2  ::)
Those two did double their size..never a single flower on them and now this summer slugs and snails finished them off. I'm not very lucky with goji's..perharps somebody is trying to say something to me?  ::)
But..If they don't grow back from the roots/stump..I shall start again   ;D

Blimey! What a reaction!   :o

I can promise you its nothing I did, except to follow instructions to 'just stick it in the soil.'
I have no idea what they taste like, yet.  Are they supposed to be nice?

Will the seeds be viable, do you think?  If so, I'd be more than happy to share. :)

Seeds from bought ones germinate very readily.  I am not sure what happens if you only have the one plant.  I suppose it is worth a try.  Perhaps it likes your soil or you talk to it nicely. ;D

I've had 3 plants for a couple of years, had one berry the 2nd year and none this year.
I may keep them another year to see what happens.
They are pretty random in the way they grow though.
