Title: Harlequin Squash
Post by: JoeCocker on August 28, 2012, 12:41:51
Hi all

Been a pretty disastrous year growing these plants, out of five plants , I've only got two squashes, up to now, I've tried hand pollinating but the tiny squashes just seem  to fall off a few days later.

What am I doing wrong, should i cut off the large squashes, or leave them to change colour on the plant?  Any advice on growing more squash would be very much appreciated

Thank you

Leave the squashes on the plants until they die down in the autumn, to get the best taste and sweetness and best keeping.

Thank you, any tips on growing more than one from each plant?

Start them early and feed them well with protection early.
