Title: As long as your arm runners
Post by: goodlife on August 27, 2012, 11:58:08
Few of us got hold of some of these seed this year..have you grown them?...how are they doing?
Are they growing any differently to 'normal' runnerbean varieties?

I have 5 plants going..and they are in full bloom..I've eaten some beans already, but pods have not grown any longer than any other runnerbeans.. ???
Flowers on mine are fully scarlet colour..how about yours?
Have I got 'what it says on the tin'? ::)

We had a Dow Gauk bean pod entered as a runner bean in our local Hort' fete.  The committee didn't have the sphericas to exclude it ! ! ! ::)

Cheers,    Tony.
