Title: Raspberries
Post by: Borlotti on August 22, 2012, 09:44:15
Picked these last night for a treat for my next door neighbour who cooks chicken for my cat.  Just off to the lovely allotment to see if anymore have gone ripe overnight.

Just finished cutting down last year's summer canes and have a large bag of rasps in the freezer (Even I could not eat all the ones I got). But the autumn ones are just coming to fruit now so by October I will either look like a raspberry or be heartily sick of them ;D ;D

We picked 4 lb of raspberries since last weekend and lots more are forming. I've never eaten so many at once.

Last year my autumn raspberries produced a few at a time from July until the first frost.  This year they are all there but not going red, very frustrating.
