Post by: the_snail on August 17, 2012, 11:00:14
Hi all :)

I normally buy my winter onion sets from a Garden center but this year I might not be able to do that as we have transport problems. I would like to know do B&Q stock winter onion sets. I can walk to B&Q :)

Thanks.

They have none at the moment as I have had a look but it is early yet.
I think they did last year.

Thanks all for your reply. I will have to wait a bit and see if they have any in. I might give them a ring to see if they will be stocking them.

Thanks :)

I was in Oxford a week ago and was directed to a garden stall in the Covered Market close to The Mitre. I was able to buy a packet of Phacelia green manure which my home town didn't have. They are certainly worth a try.
