If any of you live near enough, it would be lovely to see you at our Summer Fayre this Sunday. It starts at 12:00 and finishes around 3:00.
Lots of different things to buy - plants, vegetables, cut flowers, home-made cakes, bric-a-brac, Shirley's glass paintings and her delicious bread pudding, Jenny's jams & preserves, tombola, raffle, bee-keeping, scouts. Green netting for sale at £1 per metre, 3 metres wide, all the usual Stores stuff like fertilizers, compost, canes etc.
You can wander round the site and if you are brave enough, you can stroke Psycho the feral cat who doesn't know that she is supposed to be feral.
There is a Cream Tea in the pavilion and lots of shelter in case of bad weather.
All the money we raise will be divided between Macmillan and Air Ambulance.
Our postcode is B42 2LR and there is parking on site for Blue Badge holders and in the park next door for others.
If any of you do come, please come and say hello to me.
Now don't forget to look for the woman in the grey knitted hat and the purple coat ;D
Wish I could come again this year, but unfortunately can't. Great shame because last year was fab and several A4Aers were introduced by Squash.
Wish you a very successful Fayre with lots of visitors and good weather.
Too far for me to come, from Enfield, north London, but give that lovely Psycho cat a kiss from me. Have a great day.
Thanks Galina and Borlotti. Hopefully the weather will be ok and if there is rain, it won't be torrential like it was one year.
We might pop down! :)

That's good, look forward to seeing you again, :)

Sorry I can't make it! I'd love to see Psycho (and Janet). One of these years I'll make the supreme effort..

It certainly would be a supreme effort - all the way to Birmingham from Edinburgh! (but I'm sure that meeting Psycho and Janet would be worth it :))

What all the way from Scotland ;D
A bit too far for me too, but hope the weather is good and you all have a super day ;D Will you be taking pictures again, I love seeing those :)
I hope it goes well for you Betty, unfortunatly I will have to give it a miss this year. Really enjoyed last year and will hopefully make it next year ( will get my name put on a jar of picallili!!)
Good luck hope you have a brilliant day.

Hope you have a great day, maybe next year I'll get a tandem organised for Borlotti and myself. ;)
Hope it all goes well :)
Kev, not quite up to cycling to Birmingham, but have a senior rail card, so maybe one day a lovely train journey, looks like they have a good day for it, if the weather is the same as it is here. Lots of cold drinks needed.
I went by train last year and the train station is quite near!
Maybe next year ;D
A good day was had by all. Weather was kind to us. Just a short sharp shower. Betty will update you all on the finance side of things
and pictures!! we want pictures!
Thanks for all your good wishes, I'm sure they worked because the weather was good for a change with only one short spell of rain. The final total isn't in yet but I think we are down quite a lot on previous years. We advertised locally, it was in the local free newspaper and we did leaflets door-to-door but there didn't seem to be all that many customers. We might have to think of something different for next year, or maybe give it a miss..
Anyway, here are a few photos -

Fabulous pictures, what gorgeous plants and I adore the pink mice :)
Hope your money total is not down too much.
Well as Jenny from CP said "We went home with more than we left with". I really enjoyed it all.The camaradary(hope its spelt righ) between all of those that do take part gives me a lovely warm feeling that I wouldn't get if I didn't do it.
We are not doing the bric a brac next year so am going to have to think of something else.
If any of you have any suggestions.
Any bread pudding left. ;D
NO!!!!!!!
By bread pudding is that the same as Bread and butter pudding - I love that!
No Pl. Its soaked bread mixed with mixed fruit and fat and sugar. I use sunflower oil and I also put ginger in it. I use seeded bread so its rather nutty.
