After a hellish night of snow blizzards and 8 hour power cut just after midnight!! .....plus a 2 mile trek thru snow to rescue daughter after her lift was abandoned in a snowdrift!!......we had to laugh it off and build this little chap this morning !! ::) ;D

Brilliant. We have only had snow like that twice in 8 years. Frost, yes, but not snow. Hope daughter is ok.
PS I like the wry grin!
Nice one Di I like his hat.
Well, Eric , as you can see .........just about thawed by the time I read the manual and got the digi camera up and running!! ::) But certainly caused absolute havoc on the roads last night!!
Daughter and friend were fine ...more concerned about missing midnight hugs and kisses from certain admirers!! ::) ;) ;D
What a fab snowman and pic, keeping my fingers crossed that we get some of the white stuff in Essex so we can have a go as well ::)
Well done you, for putting on a new pic for 2004.
Happy New Year
- if that damned bird would stop fanning us, we'd be a lot warmer!!
Or is it a 'wind power generator'?. = Tim
Diane, Glad things worked out okay and your daughter was okay. Loved the snowman, especially its' cheeky grin. Happy New Year! :D busy_lizzie
He's a splendid cheekie chappie, isn't he? Thanks Di :D
I'm feeling sorry for that bird tho...after 11pm and still not reached home to roost, poor love? :'( - Lish
Good one Di!! Last one we built like that was in Lake Tahoe, and he had sunglasses and a beer in his hand ;D Made me chuckle ;D
Oh...Tim!!........how could you berate my lovey-dovey animated symbol... winging it's way across the cyber waves, conveying a most sincere message to one and all!! ;) ;D
btw..Tim, how canny of you !! Up here in the wilds we DO have a wind 'farm' !! As one approaches over the brow of the hill........monstrous, metallic albatross type wings loom into view 'twixt field and sky........extremely surreal !!
Foggy today...but here's a pic anyway ( slightly enhanced!! ).....sorry, couldn't fit all 15 of them in!
