Post by: Roy Bham UK on February 28, 2005, 14:40:04
I have a packet of Hyacinth bulbs and noted the last date for planting was December :o are they worth a shot just for the sake of it or will I be wasting my time? ??? ::) ;D

Go for it Roy. Nothing to loose is there?? And just think of the lovely smell of hyacinths  mmmm heaven.  They will hopefully flower just a little later. Best of luck.

They certainly won't grow in the packet. They may well sulk for a year, but then they may flower in Summer.

I was thinking that at this stage you would be better planting them in the garden, not in pots!
