Thank you everyone.

It was a very quiet day and hubbie cooked a lovely meal in the evening.  The main celebrations will be at the weekend when we will be with the rest of the family. I look forward to receiving an abundance of wonderful home made cards from my two grandchildren.

Hubbie gave me a book "Lilacs- A Gardeners Encyclopaedia".  It's a lovely book, full of beautiful illustrations.

He also bought me four hydrangeas, which I chose when looking around garden centres.  They are Involucrata Viridescens, Sargentiana, Serrata Kuyosumi and one without a label that I believe is Endless Summer Pink.
