Fabulous pics, fabulous produce. Where's the green with envy emoticon?
Soil looks very sandy. What sort of fertilizer do you use? Are you allowed hose pipes?
How to the slugs and snails like all that sand?
And no fat hen and milk thistle in sight.
Brilliant.
Hi digeroo, yes we have a sandy soil because we are behind the dunes near the coast.I put in every year a big amount of cow manure and yes we are allowed to use hosepipes.Snails and slugs are still a problem but what e heck it is nature at his best.
Great pics Ruud and splendid looking crops ;D
What are the first two cucumber pictures of, are they they same?
Tomatoes look great, you have had a much better fruit set than I have here :) What are the leaves in the last picture, they don't seem to go with the tomato?
Great pics Ruud, hope you are well. I remember you sending me some Tomato seeds when i first joined on here. ooh must be 6 years ago.
Had to look at your profile to see where you were based. ;D Nice show
jayb the two gherkins are the same one only one is a little bit matured than the other.the leaves are from the gherkin.northener did the seeds do what the supossed to do?
Hi I love looking at allotment photos and yours are great.
I thought i'd share some of my allotment too.
They are here: http://notjustgreenfingers.wordpress.com/four-allotments-with-pictures/
(Look lower down on the page)
Some impressive work on this thread from both of you!
Looks very good both, thank you for showing us :)
Looks so different from my hard, clay soil Ruud ;D nice pictures, the beans look wonderful in particular and the brassica too!

Thanks. My allotments are heavy clay too so I keep digging in manure etc which helps a bit
Nice plot .... well done..
Ruud, oh yes you sent me some real unusual types. A really big Russian type was most impressive.
Lucky you having red tomatoes Ruud! :D Mine are still all green. :'(
Some lovely photos, thanks for sharing
I've really enjoyed looking at the photos..I wondered if anyone else has any they would share, as it's so good to know people are still having some successes in such a bad year?
I would love to see some and it helps to give us all ideas for things to do on our own plots.
