Title: Epson Stylus Office BX305FW Plus.
Post by: telboy on July 31, 2012, 15:08:36
Hi Guys,
I bought this WiFi 'all in one' printer last week so that OH could print from her laptop w/o having to muscle in on mine.
The set up seemed to go OK but when I try to print, a message comes up on the small screen 'make sure installer program on computer is ready to start set up'. Don't understand, as I get to the 'print a test page' stage and I'm being told 'The printer is busy'?
We have two laptops on a small home network which work fine. I have ensured the latest driver(s) are installed etc. but the printer doesn't seem to see the computer and the router/printer/computer are all in close proximity.
Any ideas guys - I'm tearing me hair out here. >:( :'(

I'm no techno person at all, but with ours we have to switch the wi-fi on and off before we print!

pl,
I used to have to do that with an exceedingly poor Netgear - which was binned!
To save any head scratching, I finally, (after 3 days), resolved the issue with no acceptable help from my ISP/Epson manuals/helplines, but, a Geeks forum did. How are us drongoes gonna cope with 'puter issues??
It was all to do Epsons unique way of communicating the printer with the home network.
You have two options, take your choice, or fall down a big black 'ole!
Good 'ere'innit?
