Title: Floating potato!
Post by: Andy H on July 29, 2012, 19:16:29
This is weird-Found an egg in the spuds, It must have been on the raised bed when the wife dug them, thrown in bucket, bought home, bucket roughly moved about the garage, them I tipped them out on the floor and "threw" them into bowl to scrub, egg survived the lot but I only noticed when it floated!

Smelly stuff leaking out the shell, oooh it stunk.

Amazing it survived but what is it??? Smaller than chicken but not by much???

Foxes sometimes carry eggs and hide them.  Are you near a pond?  Is it a duck egg.

No ponds near here but we do get foxes.

I dug my spuds last year and found a egg buried in with them, I assumed our local Fox had buried it as Digeroo said.   ::)

We get lots on our site. Everyone thinks they are ours because we have chooks but ours do not have data stamps one them!
