Title: They have got to go
Post by: Digeroo on July 18, 2012, 07:33:29
It is year four.  If I had planted raspberries, currants, etc etc I would now be looking forward to a great crop, but instead all I have is nothing.

The Gogis have got to go. >:(

What a mistake a to make a. :(

I pulled out my Shiraz mangetout yesterday - They are now in the compost bin.

Some things are just hype.

Yes you are right Shiraz are next on the list.  Not a patch on the mangetout from seed swap.

I've been away for two weeks in Spain roasting and fishing in the sun whilst my plot has been overcome with rain fueled weeds.
My mange tout have suffered from not being picked so lots have gone to waste my wife said it was too wet to go and pick them !! still we've had some I had no idea the plant grew so big !! can they get mosaic virus ? looks similar, certainly the courgettes have it as per usual.

Got some climbing french beans and chard and a very red spinach like thing I forget the name 'blood' something and plenty of cavalo nero now and to come plants look healthy but too crowded some will have to go.
Despite all the difficulties I am getting some stuff though my out door tomatoes are stunted and only just flowering I can hardly believe they don't have blight considering it's so wet.....might even get some green ones.....maybe the sun will shine.....yet  :)

Leave the mangtout to form proper seeds (peas) and shell them out for next years seed..  :)
