When/where did you sow them?
Is there any chance they were mixed up with other brassicas at sowing, such as summer sprouting brocolli?

sorry but if they have flowered they have done thier bit and will not produce sprouts. not sure why it usually happens in the second year. Extreme stress, not being potted/ moved on or overcrowding could stimulate the urge to flower. Sure someone more knowledgable will come along.
Is it all the plants or just some?

Sprouts are about a 30 to 36 week growing period so something has gone drasticly wrong as they are far to early
They wouldnt be Evershams or Bedfordshires by any chance.

When did you set the seed away.

Thanks for replying all, after a quick look in my diary I can confirm they are Bedfordshires and were bought from a garden centre at about 3inches tall, looks like they will be chucked then.Caulis have bolted too,ohh well!!
