last one today.
Let me know when you get fed up of seeing them. Loads more to come if any one not fed up yet!!. On the subject of competitions, competing in something I enjoy doesn't interest me in the slightest. The fact that someone out there likes my photo's is more than enough for me. ;D ;D ;D

Was the sunflower "Velvet Queen" ?
Sorry Wardy, haven't got a clue. My knowledge around a garden you could fit on a pin head, the sunflowers were taken at Knighthayes Court kitchen garden. The orange ones did catch my eye though.
I got some Velvet Queen sunflowers in a mixture and they were lovely. Want to grow some again this year. They are'nt too tall which suits me in this windswept place :)
Stunning photos DD !Â
A suitable image to end the weekend posting. Night night everyone.
Allotment tomorrow no photo's.

Great Pics DD. Dont stop posting they are wonderful! I particularly like the one with the crocosmia and oenothera (montbretia and evening primrose). A lovely spash of summer colour to brighten the dark winter months!
Hi to you all, this will be the last photo posting for a while, I think I need to spend a lot more time over at the allotment.
I think we must have one of the earliest planters in the country down here, seen one of the neighbours putting up his runner bean canes. Organised or mad ?
Anyway, catch you all later in the week, with hopefully some nice spring photo's.
Bye for now.
Dirk. ;) ;)

No garden should be without one
.
Just in case you wanted anymore images. Not one of my better photo's but thought I would share with you all anyway.
Any ideas as to location ?

Beautiful picture...anywhere near the Brecon Beacons? Powys? ;D
Powys Castle, taken last year on a day trip. Driven pass the place all my life ( grandparents lived in Welshpool), never got to go in and see it all. Wonderfull terraces, thoroughly recommend anyone paying a visit.
Last image in this post, another from Powys castle.
Looking forward to share with you all some new photo's from the coming year. Thanks again for all the kind comments on my photo's, just glad you like them.
Sorry it might be a little big, image already posted on my website project(still in its infancy)will make sure in future images posted a little smaller.
Bye for now
Dirk.
