starting stuff from seed has been a nightmare this year. Very few things have germinated properly or gone on to thrive.
I planted 30 sweetcorn, quite late ( early june) to avoid all the cold/windy weather and only 3 have come up!!!
So I'm heading off the the garden centre to see what they have got...so I can at least plant something on my plot!
..The prices will probably make me reconsider thought. ;D
Oh...dangerous thing to do....hold on to your purse... :-X
Have fun..! ;D
I feel your pain! . By now my squashes are romping away but they have stood still and are refusing to grow. the only vegetables that are progressing are the lettuces, cabbages and spring onions!!
Not a good year :'(

Everything in moderation. I bought a mixed pack of 20 mini brassica plants for a shocking £5 from Wyevales. But they were all good plants and I had some vouchers about to expire.
Just be careful out there ;)
I start my corn under the hot water tank. It comes up in no time, then it goes on the windowsill for a bit before migrating to the allotment.
it is said that this year's Chinese lunar year to have 'two springs'
so be patient, everything will be alright if not better!

So what did you get?

I went yesterday...
They must have had a promotion at the weekend.... as there was nothing left!!!!! ...except chillie plants!
So I went up the lottie and planted some lettuces and more parsnips...
and used load of slug pellets ( I know, I know! )
I'll start of more cabbages and PSB at home and maybe some more courgettes. I've just decided to keep sowing and sowing and sowing...something will come up!
Maybe B& Q might have someting.
