Great day down at the allotments. Strimming down 3ft high grass on a members allotment whom as not been well for the past year and decided to give it up. The thunder storms were magnificent and so much rain in a short period of time (put paid to the strimming)
Jenian ;D
I'm glad you've enjoyed the wet and noisy day. After thunder that grass will propably grow another 3 ft over night..all that atmospheric nitrogen that gets released and washdown with rain. Be prepared for another strimming day.. ;D
I've been collecting a swarm of bees at the lottie that somebody found shivering and wet in the hedge..they were sorry sight after all the downpours..but they are well fed and 'cosy' in their new and dry home now.. ;D

Good job mate with the bees. They've had a rough few years and deserve better for the good they do. Re:- strimming. When the weather is sutable we intend to use Glyphosate (good old Wilkos) and Zap the B***tards.
