Title: courgetttes, silver/white leaves then death
Post by: mentallot on June 15, 2012, 13:58:14
What is it ? I transplanted the courgettes and all was looking well, but then the leaves started to go silver/white, then they die. Lost 2 so far and getting nervous about the others
Thanks

Sounds like cold/windchill to me... did you harden them off?

they were hardened for two or three weeks but in our courtyard, I guess from there to the allotment might have been too much of a change

I'm with Saddad.  Courgettes hate the wind, and really like a temperature above 7C.   I would suggest putting something between them and the wind.
