Yesterday I cut up my Forsythia to fill 2 green waste sacks for collection today. On finishing I washed my hands and noticed that my Wedding ring had disappeared.Cue the emptying of said 2 sacks and a painstaking ferret around them.I got incredibly lucky and found it after an hour or so.My wife would have killed me if i had lost it.
That was a bit of luck......so you'll see another day now then ;D ;D ;D
We wont tell her if you dont ;D ;D 8)
reminds me of a tale from work. My friend lost hers and was convinced it was at work as we wear disposable gloves that go to recycling.
The next day, she went thro 3 shifts worth of used disposable gloves trying to find a hard bit!!
No Luck, I was convinced she would find it at home after a few months as I had, a gold ring I lost was found behind the wheel of a desktop pc, months after I lost it.
Up til now... still no luck, and its been about 10 months, still hope she finds it tho, one day x
Poolcue, the garden goddess must have been sitting on your shoulder, what luck to find it ;D
I only wear my wedding ring at the plot as it can't come off without soap, my engagement and eternity rings stay at home. I've lost a watch there, which I hope to dig up one day. ::)
Ninny
I have lost my wedding ring three times. Once years ago when I worked in an office, boss found it in a waste paper bag, once in a car park, a very kind lady put a notice in the local rag It was a bit damaged where it had been 'run' over and then last year in my garden, grandson and his Dad found it. I thought I had better not push my luck any further and now wear it on a chain round my neck!!
DUe to my naturally contraceptive personality the chances of me ever having an engagement, wedding or eternity ring to lose are pretty much nil.... heart goes out to those that lose something that means so much to them tho...
