Thank you. I didn't have cake either, but we had a very nice pub lunch, so no meal to cook this evening! And, being Jubilee Weekend, they had a retro menu! I passed on the spam fritters - seriously! - and the corned beef hash with HP sauce; very tempted by the Coronation Chicken, but it wasn't warm enough, so settled on the fish & chips. Sherry trifle for afters; they also had Arctic Roll and Rice Pudding & Jam! Oh, happy memories of a post-war childhood. (Apart from the spam fritters - I can still taste them as I write the words!)
