Title: Carnivorous plants for swapping.
Post by: blackkitty2 on May 30, 2012, 13:23:52
Hi there.

If there is anyone out there who would like to come to Nottingham and do some swapping for some carnivorous sarracenia pitcher plants? We have quite a few of these plants and want to downsize somewhat. They are easy to keep and we will provide full care guides and advice.

We have some very nice Sarracenia flava forms that we would willingly swap for seeds, plants or gardening miscellaneous. Please contact me for details and directions to us.

Please note that you will need rain water for keeping these plants!

You sent me some last year, which are thriving. I'd be interested in more, but I don't think I can manage the trip right now as I'm bogged down with GCSE marking.

I said they were all thriving; the one exception was S minor. It's finally started growing after sulking all season. It's got a location on he label; Fitzgerald County. I looked it up, and it's in Georgia. It's not surprising it sulked!
