Has anyone used Midland seeds? I placed an order for seeds on 1/5 and another (I know!) on the fourth and I'm still waiting for them to arrive. I had an email last week to say they had been posted, though nothing arrived. I emailed them a few days ago but they have not replied. I just sent another email and thought I'd ask you guys if anyone had any feedback :(
No, but they are on Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aag/main/?ie=UTF8&isAmazonFulfilled=&marketplaceID=A1F83G8C2ARO7P&isCBA=&tag=aldershomodel-21&linkCode=ur2&asin=&camp=1634&seller=A1Q0WSBVX6I1AU&creative=19450) and reading their feedback, there seems to be quite a few orders that do not turn up or are late.
Thanks Crispy, I'll check out the link. I didn't think of looking on Amazon :)
It does seem rather a lot of seeds not turning up :-\
I had an email saturday to say they would be posting recorded that day and they will forward me the tracking number. No tracking number as yet :-\
I used them last year for some cucumber seeds. They took about a month to come despite me contacting them 4 times to ask where my order was. I used them through Ebay. Never again. I have been using Bob and Kerrie at Premier Seeds on Ebay and have done so for the last 4 years. Excellent service, takes 2-3 days to receive seeds and they offer 59p postage for however many packs you buy in one order.
I use Premier seeds on Ebay as well, have done for a number of years, get loads of seeds for a fraction of the normal price. ;D
Thanks both for the recommendation :)
Glad you got your seeds in the end mpdjulie :)
Update on my seeds, they finally arrived ahe begining of the week. Seed packets look well packaged and labelled and an extra packet of carrots has been sent. I doubt I'd use them again though.
Last time I used them was well out of season and it did take a while but if something is to be sown in March and I order in late November adn it turns up in January I'm not much bothered.... but I've always been impressed with Premier, good seed in sane quantities, quick service adn cheap postage.... I always order a few bits adn bobs from them each year, the asparagus UC72 I got from them a few years ago is now lovely looking (and tasting) plants and next eyar there should be a big harvest, I'm only having a few spears from the plants this year as they only went out frmo their pots last year, but I've got 20-something plants, I've given away sixty odd and as they were generally repotted in a mixture of soil from the garden plus compost from last years tomatoes (when I was still growing toms in pots) they really do only owe me a bit of time and 99p for the seed....
got a link for premier seeds and do they ship to usa ??
I use Premier Seeds Direct, just type it in. :)
