I dont know if there are 'lidl' supermarkets south of the border with Scotland bit they have pretty decent seeds. it is a German parent company, varieties like red cabbage 'Schwarzkopf 2' - dont seem to be otherwise available here.
I grew their Parsley, nasturtiums, Swiss Chard(Lucullus) and more last year with good results. Most seeds are 39p ranging to the princely sum of 59p for F1 hybrid veg- not bad :)
similar deals available in aldi, they also have propagators and mini greenhouses at very cheap prices
cheap seeds at netto only 19 pence
There are Lidl's all over UK, Hesperis, you get some good bargains there, we have three in Dundee, I went into the opne in the town centre, but I couldn't find any seeds there. I'll try the one in Strathmartine road next :)
Those Netto seed prices are cool :o
Hey, here in sunny Luton we have Lidl, Aldi AND Wilkinson, WHOOPEE ;D
PS this week there are some particularly interesting gardening products on sale at Aldi & Lidl
Just gone and bought my cheap seeds from Lidl and they were only 29p and 49p packet, and I'm right down in the south.
This will be my first try of these.
Lidls have some very interesting offers coming up eg stainless steel and ash spade or fork for £7.99 and cloches and tunnels. If you have one nearby, it is very worth checking out.
