this is something we are trying to perfect.

Do you put the egg in cold water then time for 8 mins?

Ho Ho Tim, another  connoisseur, I found a source just last week and got two!!, I bet you can only eat one. I did mine for seven minutes . I also love the smaller Quack Quacks ..

Timing can only be a guide - there are so many variables. Egg temp, cold or boiling water, time return to boil, speed of boil, timing from what part of the 'boil'.............

Me - I use room temp eggs, cover with boiling water, return to boil in a few seconds, then - as McGee - simmer.

1. Goose - as said, 8

2. Duck - 5

3. Hen large - 4 1/2  Moist 'hard' - 7 1/4

4. Bantam - 2?  Moist 'hard' 4
